poverty

Even in this 21st centuary,people are dying from poverty..Where our country ranks top in every feild,lacks in human essence .....more than 50%people dont have proper food to eat,cloths to wear..........
our country is  raising big industries to be on top but neglecting the base. before independece our freedom fighters dreamt of country where there is no inequality. but till today we have failed to achieve this.i would like to describe today's poverty situation with the following lines:-
we made an attitude
to fight with poverty not in solitude;
alas! the time has pass
but, we are still finding the root of grass;
A PART OF MY JOURNEY….
I belong to a middle class family which has root in small village of a Bihar. From very beginning I have a dream to work in the field of social’s evils eradication. Whenever I used to saw disparity happening with women I got annoyed. Last year when I was returning from education tour to Hyderabad; on train I saw a man trying to harass a child girl. I stopped that man then and their without thinking of the result and asked the girl’s mother not to trust every man easily. That incidence gave me a way to new thinking and powered me to stand against the odds.
During my academic days I was always ready to participate in extra curricular activities. I had got second prize through “KABIR PEACE MISSION” in a competition on the topic “ENVIRONMENT”. This created zeal in me on environmental issues.  Further to keeps this zeal burning in me I made a Public Service Advertisement for radio on the topic “Rain Water Harvesting” during my basic radio course in the year 2008.
I am very much connected with my culture, society and region in the matter of social concern. I had made a Pubic Service Advertisement for television on “NO SMOKING” and a photo-essay for poor the farmers who do not get the right amount for their work. It was appreciated by the visitors who came in the exhibition at Notre Dame Academy, Patna (Bihar).
At present I am studying Master of Journalism from M.C.U. Bhopal (MADHYA PRADESH). As a student of journalism I always try to prepare reports on social-concern. I actively give my views regarding the social concern on my BlogSpot titled ‘GO AHEAD….’ Through this blog I am writing on day to day issues. Lastly I would like to say that for me ‘when the going gets tough (the tough get going).’
